Originally coming from a photojournalistic background, i moved into the arts 15 years ago. i put down the camera in favor of the paint brush, frustrated with the limitations of photography.

Since then i’ve been steadily refining my techniques and building an esthetic which has culminated in both open or closed-style paintings using pigment sticks on paper.
